Our Story
The idea for ISCAL FMC came about in early 2021, when Gonçalo Caleça, a first-year corporate finance student, deeply interested and involved in all things finance noticed that contrary to many other reputable business schools, Lisbon Accounting and Business School didn't have a single finance club. He felt this needed to change and sensed the hands on and entrepreneurial philosophy ingrained at ISCAL would welcome a modern take on the typical and boring university finance club.

At ISCAL FMC, our goals are all focused around being the best in our field. Always bringing new ideas to the table, and innovating in every possible way.
We believe everything we offer will also be a huge boost to all our current and future members in terms of education and perpectives for the future, and are positive that our alumni wuill leave ISCAL FMC better prepared to face the job market compared to when they arrived, with the goal of having many of our members in high ranked positions in many of the worlds most recognized companies.
Our main goal!
Our main goal is to be the first university club comprised of students in Portugal to have a real live trading account, managing real money, with all the risks and rewards associated.
